We understand that some customers have no experience of motorcycle training and may not know what to expect.
Below are some of the main questions that we receive.

Q
What do I need to bring with me?
You need a valid UK driving licence, a knowledge of the Highway Code, and an ability to speak and understand English.

What do I need to wear?
You should wear a sturdy pair of boots, and hard wearing trousers (such as jeans or work trousers). Wearing trainers and/or jogging bottoms will offer no protection.

If you have your own helmet and motorcycle clothing, bring it along.

Speaking of British weather, the forecast shows it will be raining; will training still go ahead?
Weather is the main variable that we have no control over. We will of course adapt our approach to suit conditions, and would only cancel training in adverse weather (ice on the ground, high winds, extreme rain etc.)

Are there any refreshments?

Hot and cold drinks are available throughout the day to keep you energized.

You may wish to bring snacks or a packed lunch, we have a kitchen with a refrigerator and microwave.

I am nervous about training around others, can I train alone?
If you are nervous, or simply prefer to train alone, the 1-to-1 CBT is for you. It is more expensive than the group CBT course, because you will receive private tutoring from a qualified instructor.

I don't have a helmet, can you supply one?
Yes of course we can, we have a range of helmets, gloves, jackets, trousers and boots, from sizes small to XXL.

We also have a variety of waterproof clothing, it is Britain after all, so we do get the occasional rain!

What is included in the course fee?
There are no extra charges on the day. The main item that we include is a bike to suit your needs. All of our bikes are well maintained and MOT tested. All insurance, fuel etc is also included.

We also provide clothing/equipment to help you stay safe and comfortable.

I've never ridden a bike before, if I don't pick it up straight away, do I need to come back another day?
This happens occasionally, some will take a little longer to learn.

We will take you as far as we can on the day.
